8 Years Of Fibromyalgia

I just wanted to thank you for everything. I can't believe I have suffered through 8 years of medicine and painful treatment and doctor visits too numerous to count. I wish I had moved here and you found you years ago. I will soon be COMPLETELY off the anti-inflammatory medication. I already fell so much better knowing I'm not in the pain medication any more. Pain Free after DTS Treatment
"A car accident and twenty years of heavy lifting took a toll on my neck and back. As the years went by it got worse and worse to the point that it was difficult going up steps, stand- ing up straight and holding up my head. Several doctors I went to put me on pain relievers and muscle relaxers. Doctor visits for my neck only gave relief for a day or two. I had lower back surgery where they took out a ruptured disc and fused it together with two bone screws and a piece off of my hip. After that I still had problems and was told I would suffer from scar tissue which would cause hip and leg pain for the rest of my life.
My wife saw an ad in the newspaper about the DTS treatment. Being in persistent pain I was willing to try anything. I made an appointment with Dr. Curtis and was evaluated, and the computerized test showed there was a lot of stress on my neck, shoulders, and back. After the first DTS treatment I was 95% pain free, especially in the hips and legs. Lifting, squatting and bending no longer cause pain and discomfort. I am able to run up steps. Now I can stand up straight and hold my head. Even my disposition has changed!"

Hearing Again
To the editor; (The Dahlonega Nugget)
I, Virginia W., form Vicksburg, Miss came on vacation to Dahlonega for two weeks to visit my family. I had a stroke four years ago in my left ear, and with an MRI test I was told I would never regain my hearing in that ear.
While I was in Dahlonega, I found out about a place called Dahlonega Chiropractic Life Center. There I met Dr. Curtis Fedorchuk. Dr. Curtis agreed to take me as one of his patients to start my adjustments.
After only four treatments, which were three in the first week and one in the second week, I was in the garden one day and to my surprise I was able to hear a mosquito buzz by my left ear!
Thanks to Dr. Curtis, that tell me I have regained most of my hearing. Special thanks to Dr. Curtis along with his wonderful staff for their utmost concern for their patients.

Weight Loss, acid reflux, migraines: Dr. Curtis Helped When Nothing Else Did
To the editor,
In July this year, on the recommendation of my daughter in law, I made an appointment at the center in the hopes of, after 20 years of medicines, 13 operations, migraines, indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux, back knee, and foot pain, and being about 75 pounds over weight, that nothing else has helped so maybe, they could. They gave me an appointment with Dr. Curtis Fedorchuk, who on his own time, and with my permission, got my previous x-rays and medical problems, which I might say, my own cancer doctor didn't even do.
He has given me many treatments and adjustments and has spent many hours counseling me on nutrition giving me tapes and literatures on vitamins, minerals and a better way of eating and exercising.
In six months my aches and pains have been cut in half. I have no heartburn, indigestion or acid reflux and I have lost 30 pounds with little effort and no dieting.
To add a little humor to the end of this letter, in all fairness to Dr. Curtis, I must say the one thing he has not convinced me of is to give up my occasional dip of snuff.

Fatigue and Digestion

Headaches
In February 1957, my husband, his sister, her husband, and I were heading home in a pickup truck. As we were waiting to make a left turn, a car came flying up and hit us in the rear. We had an old car motor in the back. The impact made him go into the ditch, but he drove right out, and took off. At the impact, my head hit the dash. I was four months pregnant. That's when my headaches started.
Over the next few years I continued to have severe headaches. I had three children and several operations during this time. I went to many different doctors for my pain. I took medication after medication. It was so bad I had to get a shot for pain at least once a month.
In late 1972 my doctor cut the nerve in my right temple. Still headaches. Early in 1973 he cut the nerve on the left side. This one was done without me being put to sleep. After the doctor cut the nerve, he dropped on end of the nerve. I felt the blood running down my neck. After he finished, he asked if I got scared. I told him "yes". He said, "When?" I said, "When you quit whistling". Still having headaches.
In July 1973, I was admitted to the hospital for the headaches. While in there, he cut both sides again. No different. I spent five weeks in the hospital. My husband got the doctor to send me to a neurologist. After talking to him, I didn't feel like he would help me, so we went home.
I called the office where I worked in Warner Robins, and talked to one of the men there. He wanted me to go to his Chiropractor. So, I got the number. I called and made an appointment for Monday. This was Friday. After x-rays and tests, he sent us home. I had to be back in a couple of days. After one adjustment, my headed was lots better. After about three, it was gone. I went to him three times a week for five or six weeks. I continued once a week until November 1976, when I retired. It was too far to go back to see him.
After sixteen years of headaches, my pain was gone.
I felt like God sent me to the Chiropractor. So, I thank God and good Chiropractors who believe in complete wellness.
I live in Cumming, Georgia now. I'm going to Doctor Curtis at present. Not necessarily for headaches (although I've had one a lot in the last few years), but for an abnormal position of my spine.
I have been going since the end of April. I am seventy years old, and now I can truly say, "I feel great". Thanks to God and good Chiropractors.

ALS: Lou Gehrig's Disease

I have been enjoying the benefits of chiropractics for several years. As you know, I was diagnosed with ALS in March 2003. The disease has progressed to the point that I can barely move my arms and legs. I have no use of my hands or movement of my feet and toes. I am totally dependent on the other people's help except for my use of the computer. I have had to use a power chair for approximately three years for mobility. Also I use a BiPap machine for roughly twenty-three hours a day to assist my breathing. Through all of the changes I've experienced the use of chiropractics has been a source of continued flexibility, pain relief, and to a certain extent, very helpful in maintain my respiration at a comfortable level.
I have been on hospice care for over two years from which one of the benefits I received is range of motion exercises. I also use a massage chair, which I was able to purchase with help of your office, Dr Curtis. Add to this the care I receive at your office, the much-needed adjustments coupled with the use of the other equipment, and I have a physical quality of life that is outstanding! I must also add that the friendships I have with you and the other members of the clinic are also very important to me. I know you have my best interest at heart.
I truly believe e that my life has been extended by the grace of my Lord and the physical benefits I've receive at the clinic. Because we have kept my body in alignment it give it the chance to function at is most optimum level despite this devastating disease.

Debilitating Back Pain for Three Years
I have lived with debilitating neck and low back pain for 3 years. This pain has caused problems in sleeping (legs, knees, and hips aching). At times the pain would make daily chores torture. I came to Dr Curtis and was absolutely astounded and wheat he does to relieve pain. I was also very inserted when he explain how my pain and achiness was caused by or because of my body being out of alignment.
Do yourself, you mind, and especially your skeletal system a great favor, and decide to give yourself a chance to enjoy life again with no pain.
There is an alternative to constant MD appointments, changing from one prescription to another (trying to discover what works for your without unwanted side effects). The need is not to have a pill for each and every part of your body where you have an ache or pain. Pills only treat the symptom but not the cause. Don't get me wrong, modern medicine has a place in our overall well-being, but our total good health will result when (and usually only when) we restore our bones, muscle an sinew to the place position they are meant to be.

Muscular Dystrophy, High Blood Pressure
I was thinking of how things happened to me and led me to you. I was diagnosed years ago with Muscular Dystrophy. I had a terrible fall with a compression fracture in my spine and other painful injuries. I was given only pain pills by my medical doctor. My good friend Rhetta Brown became very concerned and made an apt with you and practically carried me into you office along with her husband, Bill. I screamed at every movement. You picked me up and with Rhett's help put me on our exam table. Still screaming! I feel blessed, I fee because of the fall I would not have come and my Muscular Dystrophy would just too more and more of my physical health. I have become a new person with each visit and your care. And can hardly remember all the pain and screaming of the first few visits. Each visit I become better and now I use NO cane and walk up stair as before I had to use the handicap ramps. My whole appearance is so great my friends are shocked when they see me. At the Chinese restraint yesterday Sophie, the owner, said loud. You are limber now, what happened? Well when other people like my drug store etc notice A new "Sibyl". It shows what you've done for me. I honestly believe if years ago I had such treatments my muscular dystrophy would not have left me I was before you came into my life. I am living proof what you a chiropractor can do. My total focus is now directed to how my body needs not pills, etc but chiropractic care and good nutrition including the right vitamin. I now look forward to each day of my life. Not as before as a disabled person. I'm so thankful Rhetta and Bill are in my life and most of all, you, Dr. Curtis.

Young Child With Digestive Issues
My son has had troubles since he was born. From 2 weeks he only pooped every few days, the pediatrician determined that it was normal and that “some babies don’t poop everyday” (he was breastfed). By the time he was coordinated enough to do so (maybe 2 or 3 months) he was tearing up his skin. I had to keep his little nails really short and coat him in Vaseline 2-3 times a day.
He had tummy aches often; sometimes this took us to the ER. They would just say he had a “blockage.” He was potty trained at 2 years of age and took to it well, but he urinated frequently, sometimes every hour or even half an hour at times. When he was 4 he started pooping in his pants??? Sometimes it would “leak” out without him even knowing. This is after he successfully used the potty on his own for 2+ years. We finally got a diagnosis from a younger doctor after several visits…they called it encopresis??? He was so blocked that the feces just leaked out. His stomach hurt all the time. We gave him an enema and cleaned out his system, his stool was so large that it clogged the toilet (on a normal basis). This worked for a while, and then a year later it happened again while we were camping. Again we gave him an enema. He screamed while the very large stool moved through. We tried Metamucil to clean him out, mineral oil when his tummy hurt to help “move things through” and fiber supplements as well, not to mention lots of water. We eat mostly whole foods and do our own gardening. My son is homeschooled and can use the restroom whenever he needs to. He even went on nutritional supplements, anything to help. We sought medical help only to be told over and over that some kids just struggle with these things.
I always knew something was wrong with my son. In addition to the other things I’ve mentioned already he was unable to focus, cold all of the time…he would wear a sweatshirt when it was 90 degrees, lost all interest in sports or any physical activity, was always tired and never felt good. He suffered from bed wetting as well up to the age of 9.
He has severe allergies. The scratching that started from infancy continued on, he would be covered with hives, eczema patches, and cracks in this skins that would bleed. When he was 19 months old he ate chocolate ice cream with cashews in it and his throat swelled up and he was immediately covered with itchy hives. When he was two the doctors tested his skin for allergies. We found out he had many. Dogs, cats, trees, nuts, wheat, eggs… We were very overwhelmed. The doctors attributed his skin conditions to the dog and wheat allergies, but specifically said the “wheat allergy was not the cause of his digestive issues.” He was retested at age 8 with similar results and we were told again that the “wheat allergy was not the cause of his digestive issues.”
I have 6 children and none of the others suffer from any of this, neither do we (the parents).
**We started seeing Dr. Curtis Fedorchuk in 2008 after a really tough year with my son. It seemed to be getting worse. His stomach hurt all of the time and had trouble focusing in school, even stopped playing sports altogether.
After a year of treatment my son has grown significantly (in height)...he is excelling is school (I really notice this since I am his teacher), his stomach no longer hurts, he asked to play basketball and baseball again (to our surprise), his stool is normal and he goes everyday, he no longer wets the bed, he isn’t excessively thirsty or tired and when we go on family trips (or anywhere for that matter) we don’t have to stop 500 times for him to go to the bathroom (urinate). His itchy skin is under control, no more red patched and bleeding cuts and no hives. He is no longer cold all of the time. It has been such a huge blessing to us.
